Isn’t fun workplace an oxymoron?

By Len Gutman on April 29th, 2008 In ValleySource

Valley freelancer Patricia Bathurst is working on a story for the Republic career section about companies that actively promote “fun” at work (and why it’s good for productivity).

A recent book called The Levity Effect discusses how fun in the office increases the bottom line.. And gives you happier employees, besides. More than that…a study of nearly a thousand CEOs days thata 98 percent would hire an applicant with a good sense of humor over one who seems to lack one. Therefore…a good sense of humor can get you hired - and keep you happier and more loyal!

Patricia is looking for fun companies to talk to for her piece. Got one? Drop her a line at writinginaz@gmail.com.
