Notice something different?

By Len Gutman on May 20th, 2008 In Valley PR Blog

I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that Valley PR Blog has a new look. We thought it was time for a re-design to give the site a cleaner, easier-to-navigate look and feel — something a little more Web 2.0 if you will. Since none of us are design gurus, we sought out some pros and we found them at Forty.

We’ve all worked with designers and Web developers in the past, but we can honestly say that working with Forty was an exceptional experience. They simply got what we were trying to accomplish and delivered the beautiful work you see before you. So here’s a shout out to the Forty team: James Archer, Aaron Post, Dan Ritz, Sunny Thaper and Isaac Weinhausen. Thank you guys!

Since we don’t make any money on this blog, we asked Forty to provide this design for nada. They did, so in return you’ll notice we’ve given them some space at the bottom of the site to publicize their business. We’re also giving them the opportunity to blog here for a while, sharing their insights, advice and best practices about design, social media, Web 2.0 and anything else that they feel like pontificating about.

Also, we’d really like to refer some business their way to show our appreciation. If you have a Web project or are thinking about launching one, give Forty a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We hope you like the new look. It is a work in progress, so we welcome your comments, ideas, criticisms, whatever. Thanks for being a Valley PR Blog reader!

The site looks great! However, I’m going to miss being able to read Valley PR Blog articles in my RSS feed reader.

Much more visually appealing…one question, however, on the site description…should “Phoenix” stand alone, as the AP stylebook dictates for datelines? Or am I being too anal?

Thanks Francine! It’s all part of my plan to become the Wilson (from Home Improvement) of the internet.
