New online marketplace pops up in Yuma, AZ

There’s a new company in Yuma, Arizona that promises to give sites like Craigslist a run for their money.

Founded earlier this year and launched last month, Noitworld.com lets you post listings of items for sale not only on the site but across other social media sites. By requiring users to register and be verified, the company hopes to eliminate spam and other non-desirable listings.   After hearing about the Craigslist murders in New England this spring, I’m all for registration.

Right now they have about 500 items from a variety of different categories available for sale, everything from jewelry to cameras to real estate. Items valued under $250 can be listed free. Real estate and other large ticket items can be listed for a nominal fee of $20. The ads stay up for 30 days.

I checked out a couple of categories, and already saw some jewelry that I want!  The interface is pretty straightforward and easy to use.

The name of the company comes from military slang, “noit,” which means cool or hip. The company was created by US Army veteran Todd Foret, and business operations expert Sean Legros.  You can follow them on twitter @noitworld.

I am currently using Noit World and have been very pleased with the exposure and user friendliness of the web site. My pictures uploaded much easier than when I have used Craig’s List in the past!

I tried NoitWorld and loved it!! it is a beautiful site and soooo easy to use. The photos do upload very easily and they don’t charge for you to add photos- that part is free too if your item is less than $250.

I have advertised my business with NoitWorld and everyone was so helpful in getting my ads placed. And they are so fast. I placed my advertising with them and the NEXT day- there was my ad on their home page!

Is this the place I can finally unload that bass guitar I played 3 times only to discover a bass guitar has as much in common with a regular guitar as a tuba does?

I just placed my real estate listing on Noit and it was simple. What a great way to get exposure and the price was awesome!

Previously I tried to e-bay to sell some times & had a horrible experience. Never again, it’s
Noit forever!!!!

I have used Noitworld.com for all the items we needed to sell. We just moved and had quite a few things we needed to sell. I’m not a computer person and this was the easiest site I have ever used. AND the photo download was really fast and easy. I love the fact the buyer emails you directly and I can put it on my facebook too. Great site!
