Speaker:  Pat Elliott was one of the first LinkedIn members, having joined the network shortly after it launched in 2003.  A senior PR and electronic communications pro, Pat uses LinkedIn for networking and obtaining project work, and also teaches LinkedIn usage for local outplacement firms, job support groups, individuals and businesses.  She is a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism and a former journalist.

For the unemployed right now frequently visiting LinkedIn is a must. If you know how to use it correctly you can really acquire some great contacts.
