Embracing Blogging at F-H

By Len Gutman on June 27th, 2007 In Social Media

Interesting post on Greg Brooks’ site about the extent to which staffers and recruiters at Fleischman-Hillard are blogging in order to attract both clients AND employees.

If you need any proof points at your company for whether or not blogging is a powerful tool for these purposes just point your execs at F-H. I’ve always said those who embrace new ways to communicate are the leaders while those who continue to walk with too much trepidation are missing the boat.

HR in particular has long been in need of an overhaul and Brooks agrees:

“Despite the occasional genuinely helpful soul, There’s plenty of anecdotal and quantitative evidence about HR’s need, as a management practice area, for an overhaul, a good kick in the ass, or both.)”
