At the recent PRSA Travel & Tourism conference we discussed both sticky bits and QR codes and the travel sector is starting to use these with some success. One example shared was success with QR codes and guided venue tours. Two other examples to watch are the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (using them in ads) and United Airlines (using QR codes) for mobile boarding passes.

This is really similar to QR Codes, which have taken off in Japan, but haven't quite made a big impact in the U.S. market yet. We've recommended clients using QR Codes at tradeshows, but haven't had any takers. Anyone else had luck with QR Codes?
