PHOENIX PRSA MAY LUNCHEON
Leveraging partnerships and creating communications synergy – A conversation with the Phoenix and Scottsdale CVBs

Wednesday, May 28
University Club, 39 E Monte Vista, Phoenix

$25 for members, $40 for nonmembers (add $5 for walk-ins)
No-shows will be billed. Please cancel within 24-hours.

During this informal, interactive panel discussion Laura McMurchie, VP of Communications for the Scottsdale CVB, and Doug MacKenzie, Director of Communications for the Phoenix CVB, will tackle the topic of working and playing well with others. Using their CVBs as examples, our panelists will talk about the role of the CVBs, how their role may contrast with other agencies in the area such as GPEC or City Communications Organizations, how they have found equal ground on partnering to better the entire Phoenix-Metro Area and more. They will also talk about the methods that are working best for them in dealing with media from all over the world – whether it be social media outreach, media kits, FAM tours or something else – and they will let all participants in on the media from around the country and world that are most interested in covering Arizona stories, Arizona businesses and Arizona people. There will also be time at the end of the panel for questions, including how your business/client/non-profit can work with the CVBs and partner on media projects.
