PRSA Kicks off Spring 2010 Mentor Program
You’ve likely polished your list of goals for 2010, but is mentorship on it? PRSA is launching a mentor program to foster mutual knowledge-sharing among its New Pros, senior practitioners and every level in between. Think you could learn a bit more about social media from a Gen Y-er? Or how about satiating your curiosity of how PR worked back in the day when press releases were faxed? Sharing experiences and lessons learned is one of the best ways to enhance your career.
The Spring 2010 Mentor Program will span February to May and is based on a semi-structured format. Pairs will meet as a group for a scheduled event in both February and April. On the off months – March and May – pairs are encouraged to meet one-on-one.
Contact Sommer Caraway or by phone at 602.824.5251 for more information on getting involved in the PRSA Spring 2010 Mentor Program and to request a mentor or protégé interest form. Interest forms are due to Sommer by Jan. 27.
