Multicultural Communications with Hector Placencia
PRSA Phoenix January Luncheon
Hispanics account for 30 percent of Arizona’s population and is the fastest growing demographic in the state. For those in public relations and communications related fields, it is crucial to understand how to reach this important group of constituents.
Join us on Wednesday, January 27, when Hector Placencia, senior director of multicultural marketing for Qwest Communications International, will serve as our guest speaker. Placencia is a highly respected professional with a track record of success in multicultural communications. Although based in Phoenix, he spends much of his time at the Qwest headquarters in Denver. Lucky for us, he has agreed to stay in town to provide Phoenix PRSA with an overview on diversity in the Phoenix market, strategies to reach Hispanic audiences, and to share some of Qwest’s secrets for success.
Date & Time: January 27, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
