IABC Phoenix to support nine charities

iabcphoenixIABC Phoenix launched a new program this year to increase the number of nonprofit organizations to which it is offering support. Rather than simply choose one deserving organization to help, this year IABC Phoenix selected nine organizations from a list of 21 applications and individual IABC members will provide the support. The new format is a great idea. Here’s a list of which qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations will get support:

  • Arizona Dental Foundation will receive a logo redesign, provided by Liquis Design.
  • Arizona-Mexico Commission and WellCare Foundation will receive social media training, provided by IABC Phoenix board member Rebecca Armendariz.
  • Community Dental Foundation will receive training on overall communication strategy and planning, provided by Mindspace.
  • Prevent Child Abuse Arizona will receive production services for a video public service announcement (PSA), provided by Chili Pepper Productions.
  • Southwest Valley Literacy Association will receive training on promotional marketing strategies, provided by FreeStyle Marketing.
  • Easter Seals Southwest Human Development will receive event promotion assistance for its “Walk With Me” event, provided by IABC Phoenix member Katarina Kovacevic.
  • Native Health will receive media interview training, provided by IABC Phoenix member Kathy Kerchner of Master Your Message.
  • Shoebox Ministry will receive copywriting and public relations assistance, provided by IABC Phoenix member Lori Baker.
