Perino to join Burson-Marsteller
People like Dana Perino give PR a bad name and for Burson-Marsteller to hire her proves that you can get away with anything in PR and still land a primo job. Perino sold her soul to the Bush administration and was part of the parade of liars fronting the administration’s assault on truth.
Seriously, would you give Scott McClellan a job where transparency was a key value? Same thing with Perino. And don’t tell me she was patriotic for serving her president. Bull. She stood there at the podium and lied, knowingly, to further her career. Burson-Marsteller hired her because she looks good on their resume…not because she’s a strong public relations professional.
Oh, and you gotta love her new job title — chief issues counselor. I guess they’ll run her over to whatever big client needs to hide some truth so she can advise them on how it’s done.

Whoa. I thought I was harsh and a curmudgeon. Way to go, Len! Best honesty I’ve seen on this site. Now start doing this for all the press releases you run on local people being promoted through this blog.

Spoken like a true Democrat – and a man with values close to my heart! I’m with ya Len. Thanks for speaking the truth.

Wow! That was so insightful, mature, and most of all, unbiased.
I will anxiously await your next piece about how honest and transparent THIS administration is.
