By Len Gutman on August 25th, 2008 In People

The Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Josh Kenzer as the online marketing manager to strengthen Scottsdale’s presence online. In this position, Kenzer oversees the bureau’s online marketing campaign, search engine optimization, social media incorporation and Web site development and content.

Kenzer comes to the Scottsdale bureau from Twelve Horses, where he served as online marketing strategist and senior Web developer providing online marketing strategies to the Henderson, Reno-Sparks and Monterrey Bay convention and visitors bureaus, as well as resorts and other travel and destination sites. At Twelve Horses, Kenzer implemented search engine optimization strategies, developed content for Web sites and managed e-mail marketing initiatives. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Kenzer has a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in computer information systems.

And by the way, congrats to Scottsdale CVB corporate communications director Rachel Pearson for using the correct AP style for Web site. ;) Guess they teach ‘em right up there at NAU!

Our loss is Scottsdale’s gain. Josh kicks ass. We’ll miss him but will always remain connected. Thinking we’ll somehow be having a corporate retreat in Scottsdale sooner than later…

Best of luck Josh…I hope they can handle all your progressive thinking!
