Cerf moves to Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood Arizona announces Cynde Cerf as the new Director of Marketing and Communications. Cerf will oversee all media relations, advertising, marketing, crisis communications and brand awareness for the organization.
Prior to Planned Parenthood, Cerf was the Director of Community Relations at St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance in Phoenix.
Cerf has a Master’s in Mass Communications from Arizona State University, Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a B.S. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California.
She has served as an officer on the board for the Phoenix Chapter of PRSA for the last three years. Her work has been recognized with three Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Copper Anvil Awards and, in 2008, Cerf was recognized by Arizona Woman magazine as the highest ranking woman at the largest nonprofit in Phoenix.
