I worked with Rebecca several years ago at CKPR and she was and is a true mentor and an outstanding communications professional. Her husband would often come into the office with their children and he always seemed to have a huge smile on his face. Jim was a part of our group that rides on Thursday nights. Jim's family sat out at Hastings and Hidden Treasure Way to ring last lap bells and waive glow sticks almost every Thursday night as we passed by in support of the ride. Jim would have glow sticks sticking out of his helmet or in his back pockets so his family could make him out in the dark among all of the riders. So this Thursday night we will honor Jim, his family and his memory by dedicating our Thursday night Crit training and renaming it the Stenholm Crit. There will be police vehicles escorting us on the first loop of the ride. We have purchased glow sticks to hand out to most of the riders to wear in helmets or your clothing as Jim did. I would ask of you to come out and show your support this Thursday, even if you have not come out before. The ride, as always, starts from Diamond Canyon Elementary School at 7pm sharp. The address for Diamond Canyon Elementary is 40004 N.
