Trib buyer wants AFN, Daily News-Sun too
The potential buyer for the East Valley Tribune has expanded his offer to include the Ahwatukee Foothills News and the Daily News-Sun as well. Randy Miller, who owns the Thirteenth Street Media company in Boulder, Colo., has apparently informed current owner Freedom Communications that he wants all three newspapers in the deal.
I think this could be a positive result for all three newspapers as perhaps Miller will be willing to do what it takes financially to operate the outlets successfully.

Thanks for sharing this. As I learned more, I found this:
Two of the sources said the new deal still does not include the Tribune’s downtown Mesa headquarters, a building and property valued at more than $7 million.
So, where are these people going to work? I’d like to hope a new location. I hope its not all home-based people. You lose the energy of an organization this large if it’s all spread out.
