Sticker Shock

By on October 2nd, 2007 In Media

Anyone else annoyed by the Arizona Republic’s new advertising vehicle — placing stickers smack dab on page one?

It’s not enough that they place ads above the banner on page one and along the edges where news ought to be, but now they simply cover up news with a sticker. These things aren’t even that easy to peel off and they more often then not take some words and images with them when you do peel them off.

Give me a break. Next step will be 100 percent advertising and you have to go online to get news, which you’ll find only after you click through a two-minute ad for furniture!
