Phoenix New Times Charges Dropped(!)
The Republic is reporting that charges against Phoenix New Times editors have been dropped and the special prosecutor in charge of the case has been fired. Lawsuit anyone?

PR great Deborah Radman told me (as I was making the transition from reporter to PR practitioner) that the greatest service a PR person can do is advise management about PR. Looks like Andrew Thomas finally got some wise PR counsel. How much did this cost taxpayers?

I will say one positive thing came out of this fiasco — the Republic and the local TV coverage was great. I guess they finally realized how significant this situation was to their own business and way of life…
