NightLife! Announces… April 27, 2007
Revolutionary Interactive Online Magazine
Scottsdale,AZ, April 2007 – NightLife! Magazine, the Valley’s leading full-color entertainment weekly, has announced the launch of its next-generation, interactive, online magazine . The website features pages you can “turn,” reads like a magazine, and gives both readers and advertisers an exciting new experience and media outlet.
“All magazines have an online presence, but ours is truly cutting edge,” says publisher Brian Muir. “On the Nighlife! website, you are seeing next-generation technology, and it provides an interactive experience beyond that of a simple website. As far as we know, we’re the only publication in town using this technology. ”
Designed to Nightlife!’s specifications, the online magazine closes the gap between online news and the hard copy format, and according to Muir, lends itself to our natural reading habits. “Since childhood, we’ve been trained to read books and magazines certain ways, but most websites are set up differently, making them cumbersome and even annoying to navigate. This new technology is amazingly fast and “click-receive” versus “click-search-go-to-sub-menu,” making it easier to use and more fun and natural to read.”
In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the online version of NightLife! offers superb marketing value. Both advertising and editorial content contains flashing live links that download in less than two seconds, creating double value and exposure. Music, video and audio can also be embedded into the content giving readers and advertisers a dynamic digital outlet. Readers can print or send any part of the magazine to friends virally, and enlarge any page to make it easier to read, which extends beyond the ability of print. All of this leads up to heightened goals for Nightlife!
“Currently we have 125,000 print readers, but our first online goal is to have over one million unique Web readers within three months,” says Nightlife! publisher Janell Wilson. “To reach this goal, we have formed new alliances with Scottsdale.com and Happy-Hour.com, two of Arizona’s leading websites. And, of course, we have hundreds of bar and entertainment alliances, giving our advertisers a bonus readership value that is priceless.”
Readers can subscribe to the new online weekly magazine for FREE, and as a special bonus, the online subscribers receive it on Wednesday, a full day before the printed distribution. The online edition will also feature exclusive special invitations, promotions and insider-only offers.
Advertisers will receive inclusion in the cutting edge online magazine as a FREE bonus to their print rate plan, which continues to make NightLife! the best advertising value in the city.
