Stephanie Paterik was my first journalism teacher at ASU. She is fantastic, and I've enjoyed staying in contact with her since. Arizona will certainly miss her!

Phoenix Magazine is advertising the associate editor position with a salary in "the low 30s (non-negotiable)." I know journalism is low-paying, but is that what an experienced editor makes at a major city magazine?

Course, with a hundred people just laid off at Republic, I'm sure Phoenix Magazine will find more than a few of those will think a low-paying job is better than no job.
