Media Tidbits

Some quick info and changes going on in the local media that you might want to know about. If you have more to share, please let us know!

• KNXV-TV announced that starting Monday, January 11th Kirk Yuhnke and Nicole Beyer will become permanent anchors with the morning team on ABC15 Daybreak.
• Lori Jane Gliha, weekend anchor for KNXV-TV will now do investigative stories for ABC 15.  She asked for ideas in DM’s on her Twitter account or you can email her here.
• Chris Parker and Amy VanDyken have left Mix 96.9 (KMPX) for The Peak 98.7 FM (KPKX). The move happened on December 17, 2009. No permanent replacement for MIX has been made yet.
• Amy Wang is now covering West Valley news for the Arizona Republic instead of Erin Zlomnek.  Erin will cover Jobs/Careers.  You can find Amy here and Erin here on Twitter.
• Jennifer Jones at KPHO is the managing editor for the Local News Service (LNS) where CBS 5, FOX 10 and ABC 15 share stories. Email her interesting, local stories and you could show up on all three channels.
