KEZ & KNIX Morning Shows Link with FOX 10
I gotta say…I am pretty amazed at this move. Waiting to hear from some of my contacts at the stations to get more on this. I adore Rick and Alexis at FOX 10…but when it comes to the morning shows and chatting, I think Ch 3’s gang does it much better and it seems more of the format.

KEZ and KNIX MORNING SHOWS MOVE TO FOX 10Clear Channel Radio/Phoenix has announced that Beth McDonald and Bill Austin, hosts of the popular “Beth & Bill” morning show on 99.9 KEZ; and Ben Campbell and Matt McAllister, hosts of the new “Ben and Matt in the Morning” show on 102.5 KNIX will soon become regular contributors to FOX 10 Arizona Morning @ 7 and 8 am weekdays.
Beginning in early February, these high-profile radio hosts will join FOX 10’s Ron Hoon, Rick D’Amico and Alexis DelChiaro to chat up the day’s news, lifestyle information and local events.

Another instance of FOX 10 copying the leaders. Channel 3 did this well with Tim & Willy but now that they’re gone…here’s an opporunity to do it better?
Anyway, it will be interesting for celeb-status clients. You can pitch radio and get on TV as well or vice-versa.

I wonder if 104.7 KISS FM will be filling KNIX’s spot now. The KISS morning show appeared on Channel 3 this morning and have been talking about it this week.

**I said what I said in this blog because the image Ch 3’s GMAZ has is “hokey” at times….their morning show topicals are full of bad acting and very quirky, they love to add in a song or funny sound effect during the reading of stories, etc. FOX 10’s show is more slick and fun Hollywood entertainment style. I could see JohnJay and Rich or even Ryan Seacrest as daily radio guests there because they have a “gossip, stars and LA” feel.**

UGH….channel 10 is horrible in the mornings – their chemistry is just so off – they try to hard to be funny and they are not. and the guys have more makeup on than the girls!!! BLAH!

I would like to tell Olivia at Channel 3 to go to another station. She is so phony acting. They have such beautiful and articulate people. And even on Sat and Sun. They are great. So don’t imatate any one be yourself. And I agree Channel 10’s morning is so bad. The rest of the day is Great.

I like channel 3. I enjoy watching the gang. they seem to have a great time together and they bring every one in. It’s like there part of the family. Fox 10 is missing chemistry between them. The 2 blondes look alike and Rick DiMico seems to talk down to them. I like Ron Hoon. CHannel 5 brought in the white guy to compete against Brad Perry. Sorry didn’t work. 12 is boring and so is channel 15.
