tramIn case you didn’t know there have been changes at Channel 12. A new lifestyle show will be debuting soon. It is called 12 News Valley Dish and Tram Mai will be hosting it live each day. It premieres Tuesday, January 19 at 4:30 p.m.

According to their recent press release,

The cornerstone of the show will revolve around Tram answering the question heard in homes everywhere, “what’s for dinner?” Tram will explore her passion for food, cooking up quick affordable dishes that viewers can easily make at home during the show. Tram will be dishing it with some of the Valley’s most in-demand chefs, local celebrities, newsmakers and amazing viewer moms and dads.

The live 30-minute news show will also spotlight the best of Arizona people, places, pets and fun times to be had living in Arizona. Each day viewers will have the chance to show off their pet pride and share why they think their pets are the best! 12 News Reporter Syleste Rodriguez will be live from a different part of the Valley to bring viewers cool things to do and introduce them to new people and places. Plus Arizona kid reporters will provide their take on what’s news from their unique point of view!

If you have a relevant idea for the show, send their producer, Matt Wednt an email. Tram has also been looking for ideas through her Facebook page and on Twitter.

I really like Tram…never missed her on the early show. However, the Valley Dish show is not very good. It just doesn’t keep you interested & entertained, it’s quite boring after 10 min.’s. She was a BIG asset to the early morning news and that show is not the same without her. Channel 12 is losing it’s edge on morning TV.

Just my views.
Thanks

On one of your first shows, you prepared a fresh salsa with corn, black-eyeds peas, tomatoes, etc and used dry Italian dressing mix with fresh lime juice. I don’t find the recipe listed on your site but I would love a copy. I just jotted down the basic ingredients.
