The case for outdoor
I’m not a huge fan of advertising in general, but every once in a while I see something that works. Yesterday I was cruising up the I-10 and saw this:

One of the issues I have with outdoor advertising is that advertisers tend to try to stick too much information on their billboards and the message is too hard to read when you’re driving by. This billboard, to the contrary, does it right — and it made me laugh to boot which is always a good thing. What’s even more bold about this billboard is that we’re in freaking McCain country! This is in his house.
I have to admit I don’t listen to political talk radio because the right is too wacko and the left is too whiny. But for pure message, this billboard hits the mark.
