PR Pros help connect jobs, employers
Has anyone been noticed HAPPO? Stands for Help a PR Pro Out.
It’s a great idea –albeit an homage to HARO — attempting to connect the PR community with employers. The folks behind it have planned a one-day event coming up on Feb 19. Details here.
Maybe someone from Phoenix should get in touch with them, since they only have representation in Atlanta, Boston, NY, Washington (DC), Kansas City, Minneapolis, Toronto, Ohio, Dallas, and Southern California.
Oh, and they are looking for an idea for a logo. If you’re up to it, help the HAPPO out, will you?

Angelo, thanks for posting. My friend Shonali Burke is one of the key organizers. And, they may not be on this particular list, but there are Phoenix people involved. Another way to participate is through HAPPO’s Facebook page. The effort continues to grow stronger every day and will hopefully help many of our colleagues.

I am volunteering for the Phoenix area for HAPPO. Details are being updated on a regular basis. And as Pat mentioned, there are lots of Phoenix folks willing to help. If you have openings or are looking for a job, please send info along and I will make sure it gets posted.
