You’re invited to the end of the recession
From the “think it and it will be so” file, Tempe-based large format display company Bluemedia is holding a free party on Sept. 17 to celebrate the end of the recession. The event is being held at F1 Race Factory and includes a prize raffle, plasma screens with success stories throughout, 1920s themed entry and reception area and a “photo booth complete with old-style Great Depression-era costumes.”
“There are a lot of smarter people out there than us that have been talking about the end of the recession,” explains Jared Smith, founder and president of bluemedia and the organizer behind the event. “We felt like it’s time to officially draw the line in the sand and begin the next chapter with a bang.”

I like the creativity behind this event, though I’m not as optimistic as Bluemedia that the recession is over (first we need to stop spending billions on pointless wars and we need to fix health care). Still, it’s never a bad idea to throw a party.

Sorry…sounds like a publicity gimmick to me.
