SPJ Sponsoring Alicia Shepard Book Event

Hear the American Journalism Review’s Alicia C. Shepard speak about her new book, “Woodward and Bernstein: Life in the Shadow of Watergate,” at a book-signing sponsored by the Valley of the Sun chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at the Connections Cafe at Tempe Public Library, 3500 S. Rural Road (at Southern Avenue, half a mile north of U.S. 60 freeway), Tempe.

Shepard is in the Valley for the annual Investigative Reporters and Editors national conference June 7-10 at the Arizona Biltmore resort in Phoenix. Shepard will autograph copies of the book purchased at the event and is giving $5 from the sale of each copy sold at the event to benefit the Valley of the Sun SPJ chapter. Light refreshments will be served.
