Mom & Pop Rule Arizona
The Business Journal reports that small businesses continue to lead Arizona job growth, which remains the highest in the nation. Citing a new Arizona Blue Chip Economic Forecast, about 60 percent of new jobs in the state are at firms under 250 people; companies with fewer than 20 people accounted for 18 percent of total job growth.
When you consider the scale for a moment, these numbers are staggering. For me, they also sum up the PR climate here — largely entrepreneurial, growth enterprises — more Mom & Pop than Chairman & CEO.
