Downtown Phoenix Web portal?
From the Business Journal article today “Mayor Phil Gordon says Metro Light Rail car to make debut”:
Gordon also announced that city is working to create a one-stop Web page that would act as a portal for all groups and businesses within downtown.
Note to Phoenix City Hall: There’s already an excellent Downtown Phoenix web portal. It’s called the Downtown Phoenix Journal and it is the most connected and informative blog there is about Downtown life — from local happenings to city and grass roots initiatives. Save the time and our tax money and deputize Lyle Plocher!

I adore the Downtown Phoenix Journal. Phil Gordon is a contributor, so I assume his office knows about this resource. From what I understand, the site they’re developing will be complementary and more interactive.
