Both shows accurately portrayed their fields - radio and newspapers. Johnny Fever got fired for saying booger on the air. It makes me wonder how Bruce Jacobs keeps his job; but on the other hand, maybe as a society we are becoming more tolerable where we can accept a variety of points of views.
