R&R Partners will provide pro bono PR for The Bead Museum in Glendale.

The Bead Museum is the only museum in the country that showcases beads and beaded artifacts from around the world and is dedicated to the preservation and research of beads. Its collection, including spectacular anthropology and archeology exhibits dating back 30,000 years, rivals collections contained at the Smithsonian and Peabody museums.

“The Bead Museum needs the help of the community to survive and R&R Partners will raise awareness and build support to preserve this unique and important repository of world history,” said Matt Silverman, R&R’s AZ managing director.

Glendale Mayor Elaine Scruggs and the museum’s board of directors will host a “no-frills” cocktail party and fundraiser tomorrow night (May 28) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to come out and tour the museum, meet the Mayor and the museum’s founder, 94-year-old Gabrielle Liese. Cost is $50 per person. The museum is located at 5754 W. Glenn Drive, Glendale.
