Local dog scores big with HARO project
Help a Reporter Out (HARO) hired Phoenix-based Lucky Dog Creative to launch a new online user experience that completely automates information and streamlines the process of connecting reporters with expert sources. According to a news release from Lucky Dog, within days of the new HARO website launch 10,000 new accounts were created. Within the first two weeks, the site is processing 200 queries and 3000 pitches daily through their new automated system reducing internal workflow by 60%.
The new site now provides industry segmentation to more acutely target vertical segments for both source-seeking reporters and ROI-minded sponsors. Said HARO founder Peter Shankman:
Local dog scores big with HARO project“Every upgrade we’ve made to HARO has come from users of the service. Lucky Dog Creative has helped us shape what started as a simple thrice-daily email newsletter into a full-service crowd-sourcing solution for reporters, and a new marketing and PR benefit for sources and small businesses around the world.”
