I have to admit, ping pong is pretty darn cool... And while it is an olympic sport, so is speed walking... Just sayin :)

And based on a quick internal survey, darts and foosball are probably the two most unappreciated sports that have not been named to the olympics to date.

In terms of outsiders joining the competition, we plan on opening up AprilFoos to outsiders next year! Start your training now!

I love the idea and creativity behind the tourney. Are you accepting non-Lavidge employees in the bracket?

I also have to point out that ping pong is the bomb "sport" these days:

Haven't you heard?

Ping pong requires much more "athletic" ability than foosball. Take that!

Let me know when Lavidge wants a piece of the DSPR ping pong team. :)

Showing off our design, PR, interactive and social media skills is exactly the point! Not only does the tournament provide an opportunity for our employees to blow-off some steam during lunch, in the end it helps with retention while building awareness for Lavidge. It also shows our clients that social media is more about just posting mindless thoughts to Twitter and Facebook. Great social media is driven by content, and conversation-starters. The Foosball Tournament provides an insight into our culture & personality, beyond the work we create for our clients on a daily basis.

And, don't forget to check-out the Women's Qualifying Round tomorrow... www.lavidge.com/aprilfoos (shameless plug).
